On Sunday, January 12, the Church traditionally remembers the Baptism of Jesus. We read again the stories of faith that tell of his immersion into the Jordan River. Baptism is one of the 2 sacraments in the United Church of Christ. Baptism, is an outward and physical sign of a inward and spiritual grace. On this Sunday, in the life of Trinity, each person will have an opportunity to remember their own baptism, reflecting most deeply on what this inward and spiritual grace means for us. You will be invited to the font, and there receive again a remembrance of your own baptism, and a small symbol of new life to take home with you. Come and join us. If you haven't been baptized and would like to be, please contact Pastor Susan.
