Want to help Trinity with a mission project? Are you looking to help the homeless or those in need? Well, Trinity has an ongoing project called Mercy Mats and we need your help. We use plastic bags which are made into mats for the homeless that keeps them off the ground (good especially in winter months). It does take a lot of plastic bags to make just one blanket, in some cased 300 to 400 bags just for one mat alone.

We will be working on the mats on Saturday, March 16 at Trinity UCC in Brookfield at 10:00 a.m. in the church’s dining hall.

All are welcome, you only need to bring a pair of scissors. So please, join us for this worth cause that not only help the homeless, but recycles plastic bags and puts them to good use.
