Trinity Volunteers Build Stockboxes for Hunger Task Force

Jun 28 2016

On Saturday, June 4, twenty-two eager members and friends of Trinity volunteered for Stockbox building at the Hunger Task Force facility near the airport.

Stockboxes are provided to low-income seniors monthly to make sure they have access to healthy and nutritious foods. Trinity’s group worked together assembling 520 boxes in 3 hours. Last year, groups like ours helped the Hunger Task Force build over 105,000 boxes.

Our volunteers were: Eric Dahm, Kathy Dahm, Dan Dierbeck, Kathryn Dierbeck, Margaret Emich, Chris Faulk, Cassie Fosdick, Jan Frank, Kathy Haass, Joe Halvorson, Bob Lannon, Natalie Lannon, Judy Marchant, Dave Mielke, Lynne Mielke, Judy Nelson, Roland Perschon, Bill Siebold, Diane Siebold, Bob Thomas, Sharon Thomas and Mindy Wirth.

Participating in projects like this has proven to be rewarding and fun for all involved.

Please consider signing on for our next activity at Hunger Task Force-Food Sorting on Saturday morning, August 20.
